Christmas in the Tarn

noel dans le tarn
This year, from December 17 to 22, 2021, our beautiful bastide Lisloise (Lisle sur Tarn) will be offering 8 gourmet and artisanal chalets to awaken all your senses, with the presence of Santa Claus, storytelling with Laser and 3D, and horse-drawn carriage rides…. for the enjoyment of young and old alike!

You can take part in workshops to make beautiful Christmas wreaths with the help of “Katy”, the village florist, or don your kitchen apron to bake chocolate in partnership with the Musée énonyme.

And on Sundays, don’t forget to take photos with Santa Claus and his mascots…

A superb program in prospect, where children will also have fun with inflatable structures and can take part in a drawing competition…

In Albi, an animated parade will be on offer to celebrate Christmas! This magnificent UNESCO-listed city will be pulling out all the stops to offer you a superb program from the beginning of December.

A 100% Tarn Christmas! What does that mean?

In other words, you’ll be able to pick up great gift ideas from local craftsmen, producers and designers, and find a few good ideas that are 100% Tarn!

Stroll through the Christmas markets and marvel with your family as you stroll between the chalets offering a wide range of gift items, drink mulled wine or taste local chestnuts….  The sparkling lights will warm your heart and intoxicate your Christmas spirit!

Perhaps you’ll be tempted to put some “made in Tarn” socks under your Christmas tree with a Missegle product, a specialist in natural fibers and handmade products, or choose a beautiful tablecloth to enhance your Christmas Eve table.

But maybe you’re lacking inspiration and gift ideas!

Why not simply offer a “special Tarn” gift coupon made to measure? You’ll be sure not to go wrong, and leave it up to the other person to find what they’re looking for…

Have you planned your New Year’s Eve menu ?

Don’t panic, for your festive meals, we’ve got some great recipes from chefs in the Tarn! And did you know that some of them hold workshops in their kitchens to share their secrets?

With a good meal, let’s think about the wine that goes with it! Why not opt for Gaillac wines ?

There are still a few days left to come and taste your grape variety and meet the winegrowers and producers of the Gaillac region.

But have you found a place to stay with your family?

To get together around the Christmas tree, we suggest you book the accommodation of your choice at Les Cottages du Tarn  in Peyrole or Brens. We’ll be delighted to welcome you to our superb accommodation for 2 or 12 people, in the heart of nature and just a stone’s throw from tourist attractions.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to welcoming you soon to Les Cottages du Tarn.
