You can opt for a location vintage for 2 or 4 people or reserve a “pontoon boat” for an outing with friends or family for 12 personnes and choose to have your apéro or meal on board !

You can choose to embark either on the banks of the Tarn or from the espace de loisir d’Aiguelèze.

A different way to visit the beautiful Unesco-listed city of Albi: take a comfortable seat on board the little tourist train and enjoy a 40-minute guided tour of the city. You’ll wind your way through the streets of Albi and take a tour of the city’s historic center, discovering the heritage and highlights of Albigensian history.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Episcopal city, Rochegude park, Place du Vigan, Sainte-Cécile, Castelviel, Madeleine and Les Lices…. You’ll learn all about the city’s history thanks to on-board commentary in several languages.

This peaceful, fun and cultural formula introduces you to the city’s main sites, and extends the discovery perimeter beyond the protected area.

You’ll embark opposite Sainte-Cécile Cathedral and buy your tickets on board the small train.

For those wishing to combine culture and walking, why not take a short hike to discover another part of the city of Albi ? A 4 km green escape in the heart of Albi on the GR36.

You’ll take the Berges trail, which runs along the foot of the cathedral and the Palais de la Berbie.

After a visit to the city’s heritage, what could be more pleasant than to immerse yourself in nature right in the heart of Albi!

The Echappée verte is divided into three signposted sections :

Le Sentier des Berges :
At the foot of the Cathedral and the Palais de la Berbie, this path helps visitors understand the city’s location in relation to the river. Every summer, near the Gabarres pier, an ephemeral garden adds a special touch to the Echappée Verte.

Le Sentier Sauvage :
Between Pont-Neuf and Avenue du Loirat, the wilderness trail is only accessible on foot to experienced hikers (steps, fords, riprap) and is only accessible in summer. Closed shoes are recommended.

Le Sentier de la Mouline :
The trail is accessible to bicycles and presents no difficulties. It is particularly suitable for family walks.
The “Mouline” educational pond offers an opportunity to observe a rich and fragile ecosystem. Rushes, reeds, water lilies, phragmites and other species have well colonized the area, giving it a natural appearance.
From June to September, fruit trees planted over ten years ago offer walkers the chance to pick fruit from local varieties.
